GIGI D’ALESSIO -“QUESTO SONO IO” (GGD Productions)

It has been released on October 24 the new album by Gigi D’Alessio entitled “Questo Sono Io”, released on his label GGD Productions (Sony-Bmg distribution).
The song “Superamore” is the single chosen by Gigi D’Alessio to present this new work which, like for the other 9 songs contained in the Cd, boasts the participation of names as Neil Stubenhaus (who worked with Barbra Streisand), John Robinson (who works with Madonna and Eric Clapton) and the London Symphony Orchestra.
Among the songs included in the album, we find “Babbo Natale Non C’è” title track of “No Problem” the new movie by Vincenzo Salemme and “Giorni” theme song of “Amici 8”.



CESARE CREMONINI -“IL PRIMO BACIO SULLA LUNA” (Warner Bros)

The new Cesare Cremonini’s album is titled “Il Primo Bacio Sulla Luna”, his third solo album (the fourth one considering “Squerèz?” with Lùnapop).
The album has been launched by the single “Dicono Di Me” with a video in high rotation on All Music and MTV channels; the second single entitled “Le Sei E Ventisei” is now in radio rotation and is also a videoclip, taken in Paris, directed by Gaetano Borbioli (director of Pausini, Pezzali and many others).
“Il Primo Bacio Sulla Luna” has been recorded at Air Studios and Mille Galassie Studios by Steve Orchard and mastered at Sterling Sound Studio by Ted Jensen with arrangements orchestrated by the London Session Orchestra, conducted by Nick Ingman.
This record includes songs with International and pop sonority, with great potentiality to become radio hits.



SUGARFREE -“ARGENTO” (Atlantic)

After three years from the release of “Clepto-manie” album, Sugarfree comes back with a new album titled “Argento”, including the song “Scusa Ma Ti Chiamo Amore”, synchronized in the original soundtrack to the homonymous movie by Federico Moccia, that greatly relaunched the band last winter.
Sugrafree comes back with their melodic and spirited pop, confirming personal capability of arrangement and elaboration. The 11 songs of this album, whose first single is “Splendida”, remind Sicilian atmospheres, a sunny rock with electro and latin-folk sonority.



DOMENICO PROTINO - DEBUT ALBUM (Progetto Musica)

Domenico Protino made himself known at Viña del Mar Festival in Chile, where he was the only representative from Italy, and where he won two “gaviotas de plata”, award as best composer and award as best interpreter, with the song “La Guerra Dei Trent’Anni”.
From this experience his professional career has started, with his current producer Maurizio Dinelli (Nomadi’s manager), and with the release of his first homonymous CD album titled “Domenico Protino”, both in Italian language for the National market and in Spanish language for the Latin-American market.



MONDO MARCIO -“IN COSA CREDI” NEW MIXTAPE

“In Cosa Credi” is the new Mondo Marcio’s mixtape, produced by his label named La Mondo Records. “Tutto Può Cambiare” is the first single: this song has been written by Pier Cortese and Mondo Marcio during a writers workshop organized by Warner Chappell. The result of this extraordinary collaboration is a track,that is very different from Mondo’s standards, more melodic and very refined.
The mixtape is composed by 15 new songs, fully representing Mondo Marcio’s spirit and his artistic profile. The album in fact contains many featuring, with hip-hop underground Italian personalities, and not only, such as Cor Veleno, Nesli, Jack The Smoker and others.

“Psychodelice” is the title of the second album by Meg (ex singer of 99 Posse band), an electronic pop album, thanks also to the production by Stefano Fontana alias Stylophonic, with very introspective lyrics. The cd has a very particular fuchsia coloured packaging.
The title is a merger between the word “psyche” and the word “delice” (delight), two elements mixed together not only in the graphics but also in Meg’s new songs.
“Distante” is the first single of the album, a techno-pop song, catchy, haunting and enthralling.



LIGABUE -“SECONDO TEMPO” (Warner Music)

It has been released on May 30 by Warner Music the new Ligabue’s CD album titled “Secondo Tempo”, the second part of the first Greatest Hits of Ligabue’s career; the first part is “Primo Tempo” Cd album, released on November 2007, which got great sales. “Secondo Tempo” contains 15 songs pertaining to the period from 1996 to 2005, plus three unreleased songs: “Il Centro Del Mondo” (first single) “Il Mio Pensiero” (second single) and “Ho Ancora La Forza” (written some time ago by Luciano together with Francesco Guccini, that Ligabue has re-arranged).
The format is the same as “Primo Tempo”: a CD containing the songs of the “Best Of” plus a DVD containing the respective videoclips.
Ligabue will be in tour from July 4 to July 26 in the main Italian soccer stadiums and on September he will hold seven dates at the Verona’s Arena.



GIANMARCO MARTELLONI - LA SUPERFICIE DEL MARE (MIZAR RECORDS)

“La Superficie Del Mare” is the first official work of Gianmarco Martelloni, a young songwriter coming from Brescia, who got his first recording goalafter many years of work and a long period during which he definitelyhighlighted his objective: to find a point of contact between the Italian music tradition and the most modern European sonority.
This CD contains ten pop-rock songs,the first single is “Messalina” which is also a videocliptaken in Berlin between Alexander Platz, the East Side Gallery Wall and the Oberbaum bridge. Important names, from the independent Italian survey, gave their contribution to the realization of this album, such as Paolo Benvegnù (pre-production, chorus) the drummer Andrea Franchi, Lorenzo Coperchi, sound engineer of Bluvertigo.



LUCA DIRISIO -“300 ALL’ORA”

Luca Dirisio returns with his new album entitled “300 Allora” after 2 years from the previous one “La Vita E’ Strana”. Produced and arranged by Giuliano Boursier is a great album that points out the artistic level of Luca Dirisio, whose expressive capability consists in a mix of lyrics and music of great impact, rich in particular sounds and very originalvocal arrangements.
The single is “Magica”, a ballad with romantic lyrics and a strong refrain. The album is composed by ten songs, plus the bonus track “L’Uomo Giusto” only in the iTunes version.



GIOVANNI ALLEVI -“EVOLUTION”

Even before its release (scheduled on June 13) the new album entitled “Evolution”by Giovanni Allevi with Orchestra Sinfonica (Bollettino/Ricordi-Sony BMG), is already gold record, with more than 40.000 copies booked.
“Evolution” contains ten compositions, more than 50 minutes of Classic-Contemporary Music that can be defined as “revolutionary”: "Foglie di Beslan", "Whisper", "Keep Moving", "A Perfect Day", "Come Sei Veramente", "Angelo Ribelle", "Corale", "Prendimi", "300 Anelli Parte I", "300 Anelli - Parte II".
The album will be followed by a tour during the summer, named “Evolution Tour”, during which Allevi will be both the conductor and the pianist, in suggestive and prestigious locations.



ENRICO RUGGERI - ROCK SHOW (Universal Music)

It has been released “Rock Show”, the new CD by Enrico Ruggeri: a concept autobiographical album, where, for the first time, the protagonist is just Enrico, his life and his experiences.
This project is the fruit of more than one year of work and the result is a strong and deep album: it’s a return to the rock, but to a kind of rock which is different from the previous approaches, played on the vintage binomial guitars-keyboards.
The first single taken from this album is “La Terra E La Luna”, as well as the theme song of the television program “Il Bivio”.



MANUELA ZANIER -“ESERCIZI DI STILE” (Warner Bros)

After the successful tour with the musical entitled “La Divina Commedia. L’Opera”, in which she plays Francesca da Rimini, Manuela Zanier releases her first CD album, fruit of two years of work, after the experience of Sanremo Festival and “La Tosca” by Lucio Dalla.
Manuela’s songs are stories told in different styles that, the various colours of her voice, make them homogeneous. In this album, Manuela sings rock, pop, soul, jazz in her way, with her intimate and always convincing interpretative power.
“Esercizi Di Stile” is a rich album, composed by 15 tracks, with important collaborations, such as Bungaro, writer of three songs recorded by Manuela, among which “Non Rispondi”; this song is also a video clip, shot in the desert of Erfud dunes in Morocco, included in the CD.



MARTA SUI TUBI -“NUDI E CRUDI” DVD (Venus)

“Nudi E Crudi” is the first DVD by Marta Sui Tubi: it contains more than 2 hours of unreleased video material: live, backstage, tour diary, and a special entitled “Marta Sui Ghiacci” recorded on February 2 and 3 of last year, during the “Ice Music” review held on Val Senales (Bozen) at more than 3200 meters altitude.
In the same packaging is included the song titled “L’Unica Cosa”, the unreleased single that precedes the new CD album due to be released on next Autumn.



SERGIO ENDRIGO - NUOVE CANZONI D’AMORE (Rhino)

It has been released the new edition of “Nuove Canzoni D’Amore” on CD, the album originally released on 1971 (previously on Fonit Cetra and now on Rhino - distribution WMI), considered the Sergio Endrigo’s masterpiece.
With this new release, including ten songs taken from the original album and three bonus tracks, the reprint process of Endrigo’s catalogue by WMI goes on, thanks to the petition launched through the official web site of the songwriter on 2004 (a collection of signatures that has registered till now the assent of more than 2.100 fans).

“Bertilation” is the original title of the new CD of Loredana Bertè, a greatest hits collection.
The song presented at Sanremo Festival 2008 entitled “Musica E Parole” opens this album which includes 28 hits, available also in DVD, with images taken from two concerts of Loredana, held on 1980 and 1984.

“Le Labbra” is the latest CD by Paolo Benvegnù, an alternative songwriter pop rock, one of the most appreciated in Italy.
His new work is released after 4 years of recording silence, interrupted only by the release of the EP “14:19” on last October.
A complete work, a “book” speaking about love, about the relationships with people, a record full of meanings. The song which opens the CD is “La Schiena”, an emotional, strong and probably autobiographic song.

Rosario Morisco, is a songwriter and a soldier of the Italian Army, engaged in Peace missions abroad. Morisco attended the Sanremo Festival 2008 with a song entitled “Signorsì” which is not a political or a military song, but it’s a dialogue between him and a senior officer.
His debut album entitled “Nato Il 5 Ottobre” released by Dueffel Music, speaks not only about war (a kind of reportage from the war places) but also about feelings and emotions of a young Neapolitan musician.



ATTILIO FONTANA -"A" (Platinum)

It has been released the new album of Attilio Fontana (ex member of the band “Ragazzi Italiani”, actor of theatre, musical and tv fiction) entitled “A”.
This CD is a collection of tales written, during these latest 2 years, by Attilio together with the guitarist Franco Ventura with whom he has a strict collaboration since long time.
It’s a very pleasant record, strongly “contaminated” by south American atmospheres; it has been live recorded, without the computer’s aid.

Laura Pausini, who just received the Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas, is again in shops with “Laura Pausini – San Siro 2007”CD/DVD.
Through music and videos this producttells what happened on last June 2 at San Siro Soccer Stadium. 70 thousand people attended this extraordinary event: the first Italian female artist performing in the Milanese stadium.
The CD contains 15 songs, among which the historical hits as “La Solitudine”, “Gente” and the most recent ones from the album “Io Canto”, as “Destinazione Paradiso” and the duet with Tiziano Ferro “Non me Lo So Spiegare”.
The tracklist contains also some Spanish versions, among which “Y Mi Banda Toca El Rock”,and the French version of “Come Il Sole All’Improvviso”.
The DVD, lasting about 2 hours, contains 22 tracks, images from the San Siro event and an exclusive backstage with interviews to musicians and staff.

“Bugiardo” is the fourth album of Fabri Fibra released on November by Universal, after little more than one year from the previous album “Tradimento”.
“Bugiardo” is produced by Fish, Mastermind and Nesli who make a splendid work outlining tracks that in Italy are unusual: from the electronic groove of “Bugiardo” to the melody of “Le Ragazze”, through the skipping rhythm of “La Soluzione”.
“Questo E’ Il Nuovo Singolo” and “Bugiardo” are the two singles from this album.
Noteworthythe videoclip of “Bugiardo”, of a high level quality that is uncommon to see in Italy, and the great work of Fish for the backing track he realized.
